Many reasons have been mentioned before for voting _against_ this proposal, and they are all still true.

SFY Labs is dishonest, manipulative & toxic for the ecosystem.
They were part of dApp staking before, left for Moonbeam since they got some money there, and now that it has dried up, they are back here again.

The grandiose claims of what has been built are just lies, exaggerated reports, with most of positive support comments sounding like they've come from coinmarketcap's community sentiment bot comments.

Bottom line is if Astar funds whatever _this_ is, token holders will be paying for something that was already built with Moonbeam's grants/funds (and some dApp staking money from before and now).

Hi Dino, once again, we are deeply sorry to read your words. We know that you are a competent person, and it is clear that your opinion is based more on some past discussions than on an actual technical analysis.
We have no intention of continuing to facilitate or fuel this situation. We will try to change your mind and bring you to our side by showing what we are capable of and, STARTING TODAY, by changing our stance in our responses, if that is what has bothered you in the past.

That said, I will only respond to you on the technical matter:

Age of Chronos is a dungeon explorer based on different sagas, which are (will be) running on different networks. There are certainly small points that Moonbeam and Astar have in common—for example, the work of designing the structure is easier—but technically the work done is completely different. Don't take my word for it; just open and analyze the presented milestone, number 1.
You'll find all the files, starting with the individual enemies, and the environment is completely different. At the end of the three milestones, we'll have to create the game practically from scratch, and you know that since it's an evolutionary 3D collection, all the files are created one by one by hand in 3D. It's not possible to use AI, and even if it were possible in the future, the original .GLB files shared with the community are open and can be analyzed. You won't find any AI that generates such a large number of polygons, and built this way.

I'm glad you raised this point, because it's exactly what we need to make people understand that what we're proposing, compared to the request made, is essentially a gift that no team at the moment can offer.
We happened to read the NEET team's request. Regardless of the fact that we share the same opinion as others regarding their proposal, which should be better structured (this isn't an accusation; we've also adapted and modified our proposals several times; it's a normal process), I have to say that even though we're talking about a 2D game with a lot of work that's perhaps even simpler than AoC, the request is completely understandable in financial terms.

Unfortunately, those outside of these processes don't know or understand the difficulties and immense work that goes into a functioning game. And I'm certainly not talking about AAA games, but something sustainable for a small community like Astar or Moonbeam, which is therefore an integration of Web2+Web3. Today, some aspects are facilitated by external (paid) programs that help with this, like Thirdweb in our case, but the integration and work of stitching together the various parts is immense.

When we write "we did 4 months' work in 1," we mean exactly that. The first milestone presented in just one month is exceptional. I wish someone doing the same work could confirm this, but unfortunately, there's currently no team on Astar who can objectively analyze the technical process behind this game. I wish there was an objective outsider who knows how long it takes to create the individual items in the game. If I told you that each one requires at least a day's work by a single 3D artist, you wouldn't believe me.

On Moonbeam, you'll notice as I write this that the site is undergoing maintenance. We're already doing the first upgrade of the Nomindio Labs saga build, with new levels and new rewards. Moonbeam funded us, and we'll continue developing on that network with great enthusiasm. We hope to do the same on Astar and other networks to make the game multichain, starting with the Dotsama ecosystem in which we're known.
The next step will be the cross-chain exchange of our NFTs. We're already evaluating various options for this process and are actively collaborating with NFTs Bridge.

We're not chasing money to ruin communities, especially since it would be a bit of an exaggeration to say so given our proposal. We're seeking funding and, in exchange, offering a product that communities can use in different ways.
I don't know what Astar's marketing budget is currently; I only know that with a dapp like AoC ready, the interest generated by in-game events alone could maximize marketing investments and bring new life to the NFT sector, which currently lacks a marketplace.

We're definitely not exaggerating. A first-person 3D game on Unity with 21 smart contracts and an onchain growth system, completely handcrafted without the use of pre-made templates—from the smallest interface button to the final dungeon boss with certified IP ownership—is a huge undertaking.

Everyone's tastes are different. Some will continue to dislike our game, others will be convinced otherwise, etc. This is subjective, but neither subjective opinions nor any negative thoughts about the developer should dictate the work behind development. This applies to everyone, not just us.

We sincerely hope you can change your mind about us; we'll do our best to help this process.
From now on, whenever we receive criticism, we'll limit ourselves to responding only technically. We understand that, in the heat of having worked so hard, we've lent ourselves to pointless arguments in the past, which have contributed greatly to ruining our experience here on Astar.

This is a new proposal to fund the first of three milestones, previously submitted by the SFY Labs team.
The last referendum passed, but since an absolute majority was missed by just a few votes, SFY has decided to resubmit it. In the previous vote, many supporters of the team’s work had their funds locked in Neemo due to the hack.
With this new proposal, we hope to finally achieve new supporters an absolute majority.

**Our Response to the Concerns Raised by the Main Council** **- Go to Market problem**

Thank you for the feedback and for recognizing the progress we’ve made. We’ve carefully considered the Council’s points on go-to-market and sustainability, and here’s how we plan to address them:

Our Sustainability Plan

Free first saga: The initial release will be fully free to play. With UCG support we can cover even minimal network fees for an easy onboarding experience.

Evolutive NFTs: Using the RMRK protocol, NFTs from the first saga will gain real in-game utility and on-chain level progression, creating organic secondary market value.

Future content without new funding: After launch, new levels and events (e.g., weekend tournaments) will be funded via dApp staking and occasional low entry fees.

Why This Can Work

User growth: Reaching ~500 active Astar users and improving our dApp staking rank makes sustainability realistic. Operational costs are manageable, and account abstraction/paymaster via Thirdweb (Astar partner) will simplify onboarding.

Scalable production: As outlined in milestones 2 and 3, our structure makes adding content simple, with future environments possibly created by the community.

Ecosystem collaboration: We are working with NFT Bridge for exclusive initiatives.
We plan to offer exclusive events and rewards to AD holders as well, given their support for our work. If they accept, we'd be happy to do so.

Why We Need Initial Support

Aside from UCG and dApp staking acceptance, SFY Labs has not yet been given a real chance. Within one month we delivered a milestone originally estimated for four months. To fully showcase Astar’s tech and gaming potential, we need a starting push.
