Community Council Token Compensation Allocation

This proposal requests the allocation of token based compensation to the Astar Community Council (ACC) members for Q2 2026, covering the period from April 1 to June 30 2026. It reflects their commitment, time investment, and operational contributions toward decentralized governance, dApp Staking oversight, and Community Treasury management during the second quarter of 2026.

This is the second ACC compensation allocation under the fixed ASTR model introduced by Referendum #54 – Transition the Astar Collective to a sustainable compensation model. Compensation is no longer calculated in USD and converted at prevailing market prices. Each full member is entitled to a fixed amount of 48,000 ASTR per quarter, pro rated monthly for members who joined or left during the quarter.

During Q2 the Council seat held by SimonB was rotated: SimonB stepped down and Ezio was elected in his place, enacted on chain through Main Council Motion #78 – Update Astar Community Council membership, May 2026 (executed May 13 2026). SimonB is compensated for April, and Ezio for May and June.

To streamline distribution, @Gaius_sama (Main Council) will receive the full amount from the Main Treasury and distribute the allocated compensation to each Community Council member accordingly.

Managed the Community Council leadership transition: SimonB stepped down, an open community election was run on the forum and OpenSquare, and Ezio Rojas was elected and seated on chain via Main Council Motion #78
Concluded the Guild funding partnership after the final approved cycle (February to April 2026 service period), for a total of 379,746 ASTR, via Community Treasury Proposal #69
Completed the Q1 2026 Astar Ambassadors evaluation cycle under the new governance framework and executed the on chain Ambassadors Tips distribution: 7 agents × 20,000 ASTR = 140,000 ASTR
Launched the Strategic Staking Program (SSP), transitioning Community Treasury management from the UCG grant model to active dApp Staking, with 122M ASTR staked across five projects (Dwellir 30M, Aradia 31M, Lucky 24M, Onchain Bridges 7M, Sake Finance 7M) via Community Council Motion #145
