Forum Discussion:
Thank you for considering the feedback and adjusting the proposal — I really appreciate the openness.
That said, I still believe that $3,000 for 2 ecosystem reports feels significantly overpriced. This is especially true when we consider that most dApps in the Astar ecosystem currently have limited traction. It might make more sense if the dApps themselves contributed to the cost of the report, since it essentially serves as marketing for them.
As an independent content creator, and having participated in several DAOs (such as WagMedia on Polkadot), I’ve done/seem similar work — even when delivered at very high quality — typically compensated at $300–$500 per report.
Another important point: the Astar ecosystem is still in an early stage. We have only a handful of dApps that can be covered in-depth and drive meaningful engagement. Likewise, the ASTR ecosystem on Soneium is very new.
Beyond that, the proposed KPIs don’t seem to justify the price, which makes it difficult for me to support the initiative in its current form.
